Indoors, a professionally built premium latex balloon wall holds its shape for 4 to 6 weeks.
In air-conditioned spaces with a constant temperature and no direct sunlight, the design stays fresh-looking for a long time.
Outdoors, lifespan drops to 1 to 7 days depending on the weather.
For a one-day wedding, corporate event or press photo setup, every build holds up reliably. For ongoing installations, we replace the wall before it reaches the end of its natural lifespan.

How much lead time does a balloon wall need?
Ideally 4 to 6 weeks before the date. That leaves time for concept development, color matching, sourcing materials and logistics planning.
For press photo setups with logo printing, we recommend 6 to 8 weeks.
We can often still deliver on short-notice requests with 1 to 3 weeks of lead time, though with fewer concept options and no custom printing.
For dates in wedding season, we recommend 3 months of lead time.

How big should a photo wall be for a wedding
or event?
For weddings, we recommend 3 x 2.5 meters as the standard size. The couple plus 2 to 3 people fit in the frame, and the wall provides plenty of backdrop.
For corporate events with team photos, 4 x 3 meters is ideal, since 6 to 8 people can be photographed at once.
For award ceremonies and press photo setups, we recommend at least 4 x 3 meters, ideally 5 x 3 meters, with prominent logo integration.
For especially exclusive events, 6 x 3 meters or larger makes sense.

DIY or professional photo wall: which is worth it?
DIY photo walls work for simple occasions with smaller areas and standard colors.
Once you need a premium look, brand compliance, large surfaces, press-ready results or on-time setup, a professional is the right choice.
Our walls differ from DIY solutions in three ways: material (premium latex instead of wholesale stock), concept (custom-developed instead of a standard template) and craftsmanship (cleanly built structures on a stable frame system).

Press photo backdrops have specific requirements: at least 3 meters wide and 2.5 meters high to meet press photo standards.
The logo placed prominently in the camera's line of sight, high-contrast colors for professional lighting, and a clean composition without distracting details.
We develop concepts together with your PR agency or marketing team and create visualizations in advance that simulate the expected press photos.

Indoor or outdoor: what do I need to consider?
Indoor walls have ideal conditions: no sun, no wind, stable temperature. Here, premium latex walls hold their shape for 1 to 4 weeks.
Outdoor walls have to withstand wind, sun and weather. Our outdoor frames are set up with extra weights and anchoring and are rated for winds up to 30 km/h.
In stronger winds, we recommend a sheltered spot or moving the wall indoors.
UV-resistant materials are a must.

What happens to the balloon wall after the event?
We take care of teardown.
For one-day events, we tear down after the event ends. For multi-day events or shop windows, on the agreed date.
Latex materials are disposed of properly, while the frame and reusable components go back to storage.
On request, guests can take individual balloons home as a keepsake. This is especially popular at weddings and private events.
