They're all based on the same principle: a flexible structure of dozens to hundreds of balloons, individually planned and shaped on site.
Chrollo Balloon designs balloon garlands in Berlin and across Germany for weddings, corporate events, trade show booths, window displays and private events. Every build is one of a kind. With organic shapes, the deliberately irregular, almost chaotic arrangement creates a unique overall look. No two builds are alike. You can come close to recreating one, but never repeat it exactly.
Where balloon garlands make their mark
Balloon garlands suit almost any occasion, but they work differently at each one. Here are the main use cases and what makes each of them special.
Weddings
Weddings are the classic use case for organic balloon garlands. We typically work with pastel tones and natural accents like eucalyptus or pampas grass, creating ceremony backdrops, entrance arches and photo walls.
Important: the color palette has to match the wedding style, not a standard range. Boho, classic and elegant, vintage or modern each call for a different language of color and form.
Corporate events and product launches
At corporate events, staying on brand is crucial. We match balloon colors to your corporate identity as closely as possible, integrate logos with foil balloons and go for an understated premium look rather than a playful mix.
Popular formats include entrance installations, stage backdrops for speeches and photo walls for press photos.
Trade show booths
Trade show booths need balloon garlands that make an impact from a distance while carrying the brand. We recommend organic garlands to structure the booth, combined with premium accent columns and a balloon wall as a photo spot.

Indoors roughly 1 to 4 weeks, outdoors roughly 1 to 7 days. Exact lifespan depends on temperature, humidity, sun exposure and mounting.
Balloon sizes
5 inch, 12 inch, 18 inch, 24 inch and 36 inch, freely combined to suit the design.
The mix of sizes defines the visual character of the garland. Uniform sizes for a classic look, mixed sizes for an organic composition.
Mounting
Frames, support systems, hooks, nylon line or longer ropes. No adhesive dots that leave residue.
For particularly delicate surfaces, we use freestanding structures.
Setup Time
Roughly 1 to 5 hours, depending on project size. For especially large installations or multiple locations, we run several teams in parallel.
Design Development
Always custom, never off-the-shelf garlands. We develop each concept around the occasion, venue, color requirements and the effect you want.
If needed, we create visualizations in advance so you can see the design before it's built.

How much does a professional balloon garland cost?
A professional balloon garland starts at around €300 to €500 for smaller accent pieces.
Mid-size installations 5 to 10 meters long typically range from €500 to €1,500.
Large-scale balloon garlands with complex structures, multiple colors and elaborate installation can cost considerably more.
The final price depends on length, balloon sizes, color combination, materials, setup effort and venue.

Can a balloon garland be designed in my company colors?
Yes. That's standard for us.
We match the balloon colors to your corporate identity as closely as possible. We can work from Pantone values, HEX codes or your existing brand colors.
Our premium Sempertex balloons allow for a wide range of color combinations. Depending on the design, up to six different colors can be combined in one installation.
On request, we can also integrate printed balloons or other brand elements into the overall concept.

How much lead time does a balloon garland need?
Ideally, send your inquiry four to eight weeks before your date. That leaves enough time for concept development, color planning, sourcing materials and scheduling.
We can often handle short-notice requests too, depending on scope and availability.
For weddings, holiday parties and larger corporate events, we recommend a lead time of at least two to three months.

How long does a balloon garland last?
Indoors, premium Sempertex latex balloons often hold their shape for 4 to 6 weeks under good conditions.
In air-conditioned rooms without direct sun, high heat or drafts, the installation usually stays beautiful for an especially long time.
Outdoors, the lifespan is much shorter. Sun, wind, rain and temperature swings put more stress on the material.
That's why we always plan outdoor installations around the specific location.

Indoor or outdoor balloon garland: what do I need to keep in mind?
Indoor spaces offer the best conditions for balloon decor. Without direct sunlight or big temperature swings, premium latex balloons often hold their shape for several weeks.
Outdoors, sun, wind and temperature have a much bigger impact on how long they last. Direct sunlight can shorten their life, while strong wind puts extra strain on the structure.
For outdoor installations, we recommend shaded or covered areas, sturdy mounting systems and weather-resistant materials.

Can I combine balloon garlands with florals?
Yes. Combining balloons with florals is one of the most premium design options there is.
Floral elements give balloon decor extra depth, elegance and character. Eucalyptus, hydrangeas, dried flowers and seasonal blooms are especially popular.
Depending on the occasion, we work with our florist partners to develop a cohesive concept of colors, shapes and materials.

Classic or organic: which balloon garland suits my occasion?
Classic balloon garlands have clean lines and an even shape, and allow for up to six different colors.
They're ideal for corporate events, store openings, official occasions, traditional weddings and anywhere structure and symmetry are called for.
Organic balloon garlands feel more natural and modern.
Mixing balloon sizes creates flowing shapes and a lively look. They're ideal for modern weddings, summer parties, pop-up events, window displays and events with a creative or high-end feel.

Can I make a balloon garland myself, or is it worth hiring a pro?
DIY balloon garlands work for smaller parties with a limited budget and simple requirements.
But as soon as you need a high-end look, larger areas, a custom design or a professional impression, working with a specialist pays off.
What sets professional balloon garlands apart is the quality of the materials, the stability of the build, precise color matching and clean workmanship. The difference is especially clear in photos and at longer events.

What happens to the balloon garland after the event?
On request, we also take care of dismantling the entire installation.
For one-day events, teardown usually happens right after the event ends. For multi-day events or window displays, we schedule a separate appointment.
Reusable components such as weights, fixings and support structures are properly returned. If you like, you can keep a few balloons as a memento.
Premium materials for high-end balloon garlands
We work exclusively with premium Sempertex latex balloons made from natural latex, a plant-based, renewable raw material.
The balloons are biodegradable and contain no plastic additives. Sempertex is certified to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, guaranteeing the highest standards for quality, environmental protection and occupational safety. On top of that, independent TÜV testing confirms the quality of every batch.
With balloon garlands, material quality matters even more. Premium latex holds its shape much longer than standard retail balloons, keeps its color better and pops less often. The visual difference between premium latex and standard balloons is obvious in photos: elegant matte surfaces instead of a cheap shine, rich colors instead of washed-out tones, and even shapes instead of saggy structures.
